Description

SUNIL, a Buddhist, loves AYESHA, a Muslim, he meets on campus. They are forced to break it off because of family obligations. Heartbroken, they move on. SANDHYA meets Sunil four years after his breakup with Ayesha. They get married and have two children. Ayesha remains single and pursues a highly successful career abroad. Years later, in a serendipitous turn of events, she runs into Sunil when they both attend the same residential course . . .

ANTON is devastated by the death of his childhood sweetheart CHRISTINE in her mid-teens and mourns her death for many years. Later, he meets OLIVIA. They fall in love, marry, and have a son. Decades later, a stunningly unanticipated happening connected to Christine, hits him like a thunderbolt . . .

About the Author

V. S. Srikantha was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka where he lives, save for the short periods he had lived overseas. He is widely travelled, both privately and in his official capacity. A bird enthusiast, he now resides in a locality bordering a lake and tree-covered terrain. An avid reader from childhood, his interest in human relationships and love for writing culminated in this novel. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and a Certified Professional Marketer (Asia Pacific), he also has postgraduate qualifications in the field of Conflict Resolution and Security Studies. Having held senior management and consultancy positions in leading business organizations, he decided to change course, taking on senior positions in international non-governmental organizations in the fields of conflict resolution, peacebuilding, and local economic governance.
